(Lead Vocals)
Natha Ohlinger grew up in San Diego, California. Her mother had a big influence on her, burning a variety of genres into her musical tastes. When she moved to Michigan at the age of 9, she started teaching herself the piano and adding lyrics to the songs she wrote. At the age of 15, she moved to Iowa and started working as a broadcaster. After college, she worked in both the video production and radio fields, giving her the chance to create commercial jingles and the opportunity to be creative to a public audience. In the summer of 2000, Natha joined a rock band called the House of Cards as the rhythm guitarist and back up vocalist. She quickly took to the role as lead vocalist, and also moved to the bass guitar. Some 6 years, more than 400 shows, and 6 albums later, the band parted ways, starting Natha’s solo work (www.myspace.com/nathasmusic). She is now a Biotechnology major at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa. In January of 2009, Natha accepted an offer for a role in the Jacob Lee Band as the lead vocalist. She believes she has finally found her niche in the music business, and with the opportunity to sing alongside guitarist Jacob Lee, she now has a refueled passion for writing music. Natha loves to sing karaoke, loves old cars, loves the game of hacky sack, and of course, loves music.
